Payroll Administrator Full Time Permanent

This client provides a morally compliant, top class outsourced payroll service to both contractors and recruitment agencies. They work with both small and large multi-branch agencies to deliver a suite of payroll solutions. Due to growth they are now looking to recruit a Payroll Administrator to join their vibrant team based in their Covid secure office in Frodsham.

Role responsibilities:

• Processing payroll in a timely and accurate manner
• Create and maintain employees’ payroll records
• Calculate wages and applicable deductions based on employee attendance and timesheet records
• Enter payroll information into relevant system for processing. Completes payroll reports
• Process all hours sent from agencies using the correct system on a weekly basis
• Invoice all hours to agencies
• Ensure payments are imported onto the bank system and authorisation is obtained
• Update payroll records by entering any changes
• Prepare reports by compiling relevant payroll data
• Resolve payroll discrepancies via phone or email
• Keep a regular check on the Payroll inbox and deal with any queries
• Provide payroll information by answering questions and requests
• Maintain payroll operations by following policies and procedures, reporting any needed changes or suggestions
• Maintains employee confidentiality and protects payroll operations by keeping information confidential
• Distribute Pension correspondence
• Work to strict payment deadlines

Essential requirements:

• Previous payroll experience is essential
• Strong numerical ability
• Comfortable using CRM systems and creating spreadsheets on Excel
• Must be organised and a proficient communicator with strong attention to detail
• Track record of meeting strict deadlines
• Experienced working within a fast-paced environment
• Team player with the ability to work on your own initiative
